DIRECT DEPOSIT
One
of our most popular benefits, direct deposit of employee paychecks is
arranged by providing the required information to the staff member directing
your employment. There is no waiting period for this benefit, and you
may use the financial institution of your choice. This benefit was
designed and offered in response to our employees' suggestions.
Personnel Partners is currently the only area staffing service to administer
the direct deposit option; a fact that we think demonstrates our desire to
be responsive to our employees' needs and to make staffing employment a
workable option for the growing numbers of candidates who turn to this
industry.
PAID HOLIDAYS
Employees on assignment
are eligible for paid holidays after 600
hours of employment, provided that these hours are worked in the one year
period immediately preceding the holiday. In order to receive holiday
pay, you must work at least 20 scheduled hours within both the week prior to
and after that holiday. These six paid holidays are recognized by
Personnel Partners:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
July 4rh
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
When eligible, you will receive your regular rate of pay times your regular workday's hours.
VACATION PAY
Vacation
pay is earned after 2000 hours of employment. The
hours will be cumulative from employee's start date with Personnel Partners
and must occur within
two successive years preceding the request. One week's vacation refers to
40 hours paid at current rate of pay. This compensation can be taken
regardless of whether time off work is taken, since a client's permission
must be obtained in order to take time off a scheduled assignment.
Vacation pay does not accrue for partial years nor can it be taken in
partial increments.
MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERAGE
There
is no reason to sacrifice the protection of medical insurance benefits while
working on assignment. Comprehensive employee-paid medical insurance coverage is
available immediately upon employment.
Personnel Partners' membership in the American Staffing Association gives
our employees access to one of the lowest-cost options available.
An employee's insurance plan is voluntary and customized and may include:
SHORT-TERM COVERAGE - ideal for those who are between medical plans. Coverage can be purchased for as few as 35 days or as many as 185 days with NO waiting period. The employee may select a deductible, frequency of payment, and the health insurance provider(s) of his/her choice. If the employee has no preferred provider, medical bills can be reduced by selecting a provider from the plans PCHS network, which includes many local doctors and hospitals. This plans protects an employee and his/her family (if dependent coverage is chosen) in the event of unexpected illness or injury. There is no need to take the risk of going uninsured while working on temporary assignments, and this coverage may be repeated as needed for additional periods of time.
LONG-TERM COVERAGE is available to those who choose the flexibility of temporary or contract work as a career. Because of your affiliation with Personnel Partners, you may apply for an excellent long-term major medical insurance plan and save the worry of how to find benefits to support your career choice. Assistance with this premium cost is available after 1000 continuous hours of employment with Personnel Partners.
MEDICAL DISCOUNT PLAN: If you are unable to afford or to qualify for any regular medical insurance, a special plan is available offering discounted services at network providers for Medical, Hospital, Prescription Drugs, Long Term Care, and many other benefits.
DENTAL PLAN: This low cost plan provides Dental discount coverage with NO waiting periods, NO deductibles and NO annual maximum benefits at network providers. Pre-Existing Conditions are immediately covered. The plan also provides discounts for Vision and Chiropractic services, as well as access to a 24 hour Toll Free Nurse Hotline.
